About the Author
The Author: Janet Vice earned her B.A. in Philosophy and English at Western Kentucky University and her Ph.D. in Philosophy at Vanderbilt University. She has taught at California State University, Bakersfield, and at Tennessee State University. She has published articles on Thomas Szasz's denial of mental illness and on the moral structure of psychiatric practice.
